hi sorry mouse here this is a continuation of blog entry 4 that i didnt finish lol
anyways i also grabbed a book on how to use windows 8 because it was silly and felt retro. afterwards i headed out of waterstones to get food. i then stumbled around london trying to find a pizza hut i had seen earlier, which was literally on the same side of the street. having found it, i ate there. the food was pretty good.
the last thing i wanted to do of the day was go to lush cosmetics at oxford street, but i wanted to walk, so i walked. it was kinda confusing, but it only took like, 12 minutes. so it doesnt matter. on the way there i found a pop up record shop and decided to go in and look around, i didnt find any interesting cds until i saw selected ambient works 85' - 92' by aphex twin. now, if you know me, i like aphex twin, so i bought it, yay aphex twin cd! and manages to actually get to lush somehow.
so, in lush, i went up to the first floor and when i decided to go to the cafe i noticed it was bridgerton themed. got a consultation and a free cup of tea there and got a bunch of stuff from that collection, lol. the perfume is really good btw it smells good. then decided to get a taxi to the train station again. which btw was blackfriars bridge! i panicked abit catching the train but while sitting and waiting i calmed down. it was nice looking at the thames river lol.
on the train, i read 3 chapters of a forest divided, the warrior cats book im currently on (but 2 chapters away from the end of!) and it became sunny. just my luck it was raining while i was in london lolllll. and i got home and did my usual home stuff. mostly.
i decided to listen to the 4 cds i havent listened to yet, which in order of what i listened to were SAW85-92 by aphex twin, which i had gotten that day, suzanne vega by well, suzanne vega, solitude standing which is also by suzanne vega, and hopes and dreams by keane. i now wanna make a cd review thing for my music room.
with that finished, mouse out! later, dont break anything!
stomach cramps are KILLING me right now but im jamming out to combichrist right now. i went to london today to go to the piccadilly waterstones bookstore, having also stopped at pizza hut (for food), this pop up record store i stumbled across (had something to do with phonica records, idrk), and lush cosmetics's oxford street flagship.
the piccadilly waterstones, which ill just call the waterstones for today, was oddly dissapointing. for the largest book shop in europe it; 1, didnt really feel like there were that many books, as a local indie bookstore to me does that WAY better. and 2, had a horrible selection of warrior cats books. they didnt even have into the wild! i did buy ripleys believe it or not 2024 though.
GUESS WHAT???? THEY FOUND EVERYONE KNOWS THAT!!!!
the most sought after lostwave song was from a porno. AND THE DUDE LIKELY HAD IT THE WHOLE TIME.... LOLLLLLLLLLL. its an absolute banger though. thank god it was found i wanted to put it into my lostwave back room i mentioned earlier! also i was talking to my grandmother about lostwave (lynx point music specifically) in the car yesterday, and i didnt expect everyone knows that to be found the same day. well huh, 2024 really is the year of lostwave. sucks theres moaning though. i hate lustful people alot, but its still funny.
idk what to do now though. ive worked on the lynx point music shrine though so, i guess im doing good?
mouse out for now!
hey hey hi!!! its been 3 days since i wrote anything here which is fine but, i very quickly converted this to my style 4 format, which i PROBABLY should try and edit to make compatible with using images, but idk how to do that. i should also set a little side bar so you can change this page to all my current styles (so, this ikewise (link here!) inspired theme i like using, the music room theme, i could convert the theme i had for my old mainpage to its own css file to use here? the 404 page, my index page theme, and for the sake of archival ive kept my style.css file the same so, that aswell? that was the old theme here, i have the whole old index saved.
well, speaking of my old barebones theme, i made a gijinka for this site before and, well, because of my changes she is outdated now but i still love her. ill probably redesign her, but i made her in goddamn roblox (which is funny but yknow). luckily this should mean i can really change out her shirt and resave her like that, speaking of roblox, i also have a cosplay of penelope, the neocities mascot!
anyways, i need to make a rant page, a to-do and updates page, a backroom to my music room cafe (for lostwave and similar, but i have a kmfdm playlist using that same music player to finish up beforehand), an art page, some secret pages (i made my only real secret page, a song and a storm, into the 404.) an inspo and credits page, and i have a few ideas for webshrines (lynx point music, kmfdm, and non 24 sleep wake disorder) i should get done with. basically, so to speak, ive got my claws full!
i have been slowly learning html and css by studying the code ive copy pasted into here. thats why i call my code patchwork sphagetti, because it really is. if you want credits on that, i usually get it off of stack overflow threads or w3schools, sometimes other stuff. hopefully my slight skills here make it easier to get everything off my claws.
with that said, mouse out! see you later!!
was really feeling it so i made this magnet poem. it says:
"i am as quick as a wolf, padding over the moor." "my claws, they devastate woods, death spreading quietly over each cat," "they ripped through the earth making the gorge." "am i a god? no im not." "i swim through rivers, hide in hollows." "my name?" Erin. Erin Hunter." - mouse of femcelish.
for the first line i wanted the thought of a characters dialogue, talking about himself as if he is strong and great. as a little bonus i mentioned the moor, where shadowclan WAS situated. (i love dawn of the clans). the second line was meant to invoke the idea of a horrifying, creeping, creature, although you finally get the cat idea here. i just wanted to bring up old skyclan. our third line is a direct reference to the original cover for thunder rising. also, it shows the seperation between clear sky and tall shadow's camps. i wanted to continue with the theme of violence and strength here, so i implied he created the gorge with his own claws. the fourth line feels more humbling now, tying well into the fifth line. speaking of the fifth line, it really brings down our character back to earth, while mentioning old riverclan and windclan respectively (i mentioned them in chronological order bookwise) and then, the final line reveals who this is. its erin hunter, the fictional author of the warrior cats series. the team writes pretty fast considering, they are who kill off the cats, yknow.
right, mouse out. thank you.
